303 Team

These are the adults named on the team page, with the ranks and notes that page actually gives them.

Tony Basile

Black Belt, 2nd degree

Professor Tony Basile founded 303 Training Center in 2010. He is a father of five and has trained Brazilian jiu-jitsu for over 19 years.

Master Carlos Gracie Jr. awarded him his black belt and first degree. Professor Fabio Costa, “The Boss,” awarded the second degree. He has been a black belt for almost 10 years and has coached the kids program since the academy opened.

Eric Gutierrez

Black belt

Eric is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt with over 12 years of training and the last 10 years coaching kids and adults.

He wants the room challenging and enjoyable, for a first class or a familiar one. Off the mat he travels, plays drums, and goes to live music. Se habla español.

Angelo Basile

Brown belt

Angelo has trained since he was four, under his father, Tony Basile. He was the first student in Little Heroes, and he teaches that youth program now.

He has competed around Colorado and still trains to keep growing. His aim on the mat is confidence, discipline, and a real liking for the sport.

Jake Saltzman

Black belt

Jake started jiu-jitsu in 2009 in Saginaw, Michigan, trained in Chicago, and moved to Westminster in 2021. He found 303 Training Center right away.

He talks about the room as a community that travels: people who would not have met, sharing a mat. Off the mat he is with his family, in the mountains, or lost in obscure history.

Fuger Hoycott

Black belt

Fuger Hoycott is listed on the team as a black belt. The academy does not publish a longer bio.

Mitch Evans
